Pick a Major and Map out your Baccalaureate Core!

Hopefully you completed the assignment about picking your courses for the first two years of college this week. If you were not in class for any of the days, please see Mrs. Eddy or Mrs. Ingerson right away. If you simply did not complete it-- then you will receive an "F": grade and just move on.

Essay due: Friday, April 15th-- in person or by email to Ingerson or Eddy.
All Essays must be ready to submit: fully revised for content and organization and fully edited for errors.

Break Time: Read a LOT!! Homework: One schoarship APP this week

Spend some of your time over break reading-- please! Help get your speed and fluency and comprehension up, up, up, in order to be up to the challenge of college reading expectations.
ALSO:
Bring back at least ONE MORE Scholarship Application that you have completely filled out during this time. Plus-- of course-- go to work and hang out with friends and visit with family and take at least a short trip away from your usual routine--TAKE A BREAK!

 Two Things You Have to Do!
Please be sure to get the worksheet from Mrs. Ingerson-- but you must complete three full scholarship applications each week. first check will be on Tuesday, February 16th, so please print out a copy of your completed applications by then.
HEY!
Fill out the information and gather the resources required to ask a staff member or other responsible person in your life (coach/boss/counselor/pastor) for a LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION for a scholarship.
You must have all of the stuff you need:
1- Resume that lists your accomplishments, employment and.awards (PEP has this stuff)
2- Answers to the questions on the "green sheet" :
   1- Describe some of your academic and life goals (include motivations)/ 2-List your three most distinguishing and best qualities and explain them fully/ 3-Describe the kind of student you are-- with examples/ 4- List two or three of your extracurricular activities-- with examples/ 5- Your life story (Ha, Ha!)-- at least ashort story that tells what is unique and special about it./ 6- which things would you like emphasized in the letter, and why? 
3- copy of your transcript
