Here is a link the document you got from me that lists everything you need to submit for this six weeks-- many of you have a lot of these things done, but the check off list-- along with evidence for scholarship applications and your packet to give to letter of recommendation writers is due on THURSDAY, FEB. 25th.

 Two Things You Have to Do!
Please be sure to get the worksheet from Mrs. Ingerson-- but you must complete three full scholarship applications each week. first check will be on Tuesday, February 16th, so please print out a copy of your completed applications by then.
HEY!
Fill out the information and gather the resources required to ask a staff member or other responsible person in your life (coach/boss/counselor/pastor) for a LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION for a scholarship.
You must have all of the stuff you need:
1- Resume that lists your accomplishments, employment and.awards (PEP has this stuff)
2- Answers to the questions on the "green sheet" :
   1- Describe some of your academic and life goals (include motivations)/ 2-List your three most distinguishing and best qualities and explain them fully/ 3-Describe the kind of student you are-- with examples/ 4- List two or three of your extracurricular activities-- with examples/ 5- Your life story (Ha, Ha!)-- at least ashort story that tells what is unique and special about it./ 6- which things would you like emphasized in the letter, and why? 
3- copy of your transcript
By Tuesday, February 16th

3- December 17th, 12:30 pm: Western Oregon University is here to have you apply and tell you you are accepted-- yes! IF THIS IS NOT IN YOUR PLANNER OR REMINDER LIST, IT NEEDS TO BE.

We applied to U of O on Thursday-- please finish the application if you have not done so already. Great experience! If you get it in by today, Lorena (admissions counselor) will get you an answer before Christmas Break-- nice!

Thursday AVID, November 12^th:SEE MRS. INGERSON ABOUT QUILTING ORNAMENTS FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE TO WILLAMETTE VALLEY HOSPICE

1- OSU coming to school! Fill out appointment in counseling center, fill out application online (before December 4^th) and get information from Mrs. Eddy or Ingerson—They will be here December 11^th If you have a 3.3 GPA, they can give you an answer on that day—yeah!

2- Finish your college app essay for U of O—they are coming November 19^th. IT IS DUE TODAY, NO LATE PAPERS.

3- Pie Sales: Go sell some pie to pay for our year-end banquet and for other activities—maybe even sweatshrts if we sell enough—pie days on the way!

4- Western Oregon University: They will be here on December 17^th—12:30pm as far as we know at the moment.

5- Turn in your Bilingual Teacher Scholarship App if you  are interested in the program: deadline on November 23^rd.
